7 Steps to the Perfect Turkish Coffee

1) SELECTION OF COFFEE
Use Turkish coffee beans fresh ground with powdery fineness.

2) SERVING SIZE
Put a heaped teaspoon of coffee per portion into a dry and empty coffee pot for Turkish coffee.
Important Note: Use a coffee pot suitable for the portion amount, for the coffee foam to have an ideal consistency and rise sufficiently.

3) HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT TO BE?
Add the desired amount of sugar.

4) THE AMOUNT OF WATER
Fill a Turkish coffee cup with room-temperature water for each portion and add it to the coffee pot.

5) STIRRING
Mix the ingredients thoroughly before putting the coffee pot on the flame. (Do NOT stir them after placing on flame.)

6) COOKING
Place the coffee pot on the stove with low heat. (Cook it for three minutes on average.)

7) EQUAL FOAM DISTRIBUTION
The first foaming (around 80 degrees): The coffee will begin to foam.
Take the coffee pot from the stove before foam spills from the pot and pour foam into cups equally.
Afterwards, place the coffee pot on the stove again.
The second foaming (around 90 degrees): The foam will rise once more.

Take the coffee pot from the stove before the coffee spills. Let the coffee rest for a couple of seconds. (If you choose to, you can repeat this part, but make sure to avoid overheating the coffee; otherwise, it will be bitter and too watery.) Pour an equal amount of foam into the cups in the further foaming stages, just like the first one. This way, all cups will have an equal amount of foam. Offer a glass of water alongside the coffee to serve.

Enjoy..
